North Haledon mayor asks attorney to seek court action over items removed from former Belmont Avenue firehouse

Councilman Bruce O. Iacobelli responded that neither he nor the mayor had ever given permission for removal of property. Iacobelli said he had spoken with Jack Decker and relayed that the mayor intended to schedule a meeting to decide which memorabilia could be removed and which should remain, and that "at no time had been asked for or had he given permission to anyone to remove any property."
Mayor George also asked the borough attorney for copies of a lien filed on the Faber property and the paperwork filed in court for a lien on the Daibes property so the administration can review the files and pursue appropriate next steps.
