Waynetown council holds closed session on personnel matters, certifies compliance with notice

The session was attended by council members Randy Phillips, Doug Harris and Barry Lewis; Aaron Benge was recorded as absent. David Peebles, town attorney, and Sandy Proctor, clerk-treasurer, were also present, according to the meeting minutes.
The public notice and the signed Memorandum of Executive Session, filed by the council, cite Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1 as the statutory authority permitting the council to discuss the listed personnel matters in a closed session. The minutes say the allowed items were discussed but do not provide further details of the discussion.
At 5:00 P.M., Council member Barry Lewis moved to adjourn; Doug Harris seconded the motion, which passed on a 4-0 vote.
