Upland council approves 2025 budget, advances two bond ordinances and extends town manager contract

The amendment would add $19,000 to Kleinpeter’s fee, to be paid from the WW SRF loan. Brad Yordy moved to accept the amendment; Michael Harbin seconded and the motion passed 5-0.
On personnel, Michael Harbin moved to extend a contract to Town Manager Jonathan Perez; Heath Slain seconded and the motion passed 5-0. Council members said they will prepare an updated contract to present to Perez.
