Chair Rebecca Bilbrey announced at the March 14 meeting that she will resign effective March 2026 and that the board will open the Section 4 seat for appointment. Applications will be accepted through April 4, 2026 and notice will be posted on the district website; the board may hold a special meeting if multiple candidates apply.
The board approved a 3% wage increase retroactive to Jan. 1, 2026 for Water/Wastewater Superintendent Jeremy Staley, Office Manager Trisha McMannis and an employee listed as Barb. The motion carried on a motion by Laren Zeeck and a second by Mary Timm; the board instructed the financial advisor to draft a formal salary ordinance.
Bilbrey also announced intent to file a board compensation claim for $400, noted in the minutes as the statutory maximum based on service days; the claim will be brought for approval at the next meeting. The board agreed to post a laborer position to assist with sewer maintenance and grounds work and to continue work on employee policies and reporting procedures.
