The Broken Bow City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1253 on March 8, 2022, approving the Landkamer Addition subdivision. Councilmember David Schmidt introduced the ordinance, moved to suspend the statutory rule requiring three separate readings, and the council voted unanimously to pass and adopt the ordinance. Mayor Rod Sonnichsen declared the ordinance adopted.
City Administrator Dan Knoell told the council the Planning Commission recommended approval contingent on confirming that an alley adjacent to Lot 6 had been vacated. Knoell referenced Ordinance 45, passed in 1904, which he said vacated the alley and thus allowed the lot to be subdivided. The ordinance text adopted authorizes the mayor to sign related documents and provides for publication and effective date per its terms.
