The Broken Bow City Council approved its consent agenda on Dec. 14, accepting the minutes of Nov. 23, bills as posted, the Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department roster and Broken Bow Ambulance Service roster.
Councilmembers Larry Miller and Chris Myers moved and seconded the consent action; the roll-call vote recorded Miller and Myers voting aye. The minutes list a set of payees and line items submitted for payment with a total of $324,043.79. Several larger items listed in the minutes include payments to JEO ($38,990.00) and Bruning State Bank ($9,432.43), among others.
Later in the meeting the council separately approved Board of Public Works bills as posted after adopting Ordinance No. 1249. The meeting record shows no dissent among the two members present; Councilmembers Jacob Holcomb and David Schmidt were recorded absent.
