The Village Board of Granville unanimously approved Pamela Thomas’s application to place a double-wide mobile home on her property after a public hearing at its July 7 meeting.
Mayor Paul Labas opened the public hearing and said no one had signed in to speak. Board members noted that multiple double-wide homes already stood along River Valley Drive and Slate Valley Drive, that the submitted plans and specifications appeared to meet setback requirements, and that water and sewer connections are nearby. Deputy Mayor Dean Hyatt moved final approval of the application as submitted; Trustee Denise Davies seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The approval recorded at the meeting constitutes final placement approval based on the plans submitted; the Board’s action was procedural and followed the Village’s public-hearing rules.
