The Granville Village Board on Aug. 4 approved payment of $85,582.31 in claims and authorized a small internal budget transfer to avoid overdrawing sewer fund line items.
Clerk-Treasurer Rick Roberts presented the claims totaling $85,582.31 (General Fund $27,666.92; Water Fund $16,245.42; Sewer Fund $19,578.07; Senior Shuttle $1,271.62; unaudited vouchers $20,820.28). Trustee Heather Leaman moved approval and Trustee Denise Davies seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Roberts also circulated a memo requesting a single transfer within the Sewer Fund to address a modest interest overage: increase BAN Interest (G97137) by $160 and decrease Contractual Expense, Sewer (G81304) by $160. Deputy Mayor Dean Hyatt moved the transfer; Trustee Paul Garrone seconded and the board approved the transfer unanimously.
Votes were recorded as carried unanimously in the meeting minutes; individual roll-call votes were not listed in the transcript. The actions covered routine operational payments and a bookkeeping transfer to prevent line-item overdraft.
The board also accepted monthly department reports, including water-sample results (three samples reported as satisfactory). The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
