At its June 18 meeting, the Farragut Municipal Planning Commission approved the final plat for Phase 2 Unit 2 of The Grove at Boyd Station, a 15.86-acre subdivision that will create 32 house lots and two open-space lots.
Town staff reported a site inspection had found the project in a condition ready for planning commission approval, but recommended approval be conditioned on providing a completion letter of credit to cover surface course, sidewalks and streetscaping (amount to be set by the town engineer), a maintenance letter of credit to cover streets and stormwater, and correction of a note referencing an open-space lot not part of this unit.
Applicant Mark Anderson Baker asked the commission to approve the plat based on the staff recommendations. With those conditions, the commission moved and voted to approve the final plat. The approval is subject to the engineer-determined letter-of-credit amounts and the correction to the recorded notes.
