Finance committee reviews financials and projects, hears bank representative, adjourns

The Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District Finance Committee reviewed monthly financial statements and received a projects update at its May 13 meeting. Staff answered Committee questions on both items; no action was taken on the financials or project updates.
Representatives from West American Bank provided comments during public comment concerning the banking‑services agenda item. Committee members also offered remarks of appreciation to staff for recent audit work, budget adjustments and field staff response to heavy rains.
Procedural motions recorded in the minutes include Director Jim Freeman’s motion to approve the meeting agenda (seconded by Director Gary Graves) and a motion by Director Freeman to adjourn the meeting at 2:45 p.m., seconded by Director Graves; the minutes state the adjournment motion carried unanimously. Several agenda items (banking services, communications vendors, Piazza Construction bid, and GHD's wastewater master plan proposal) were reviewed and the Committee indicated it would forward recommendations on those items to the Board for final action.
