Road Commissioner William told the Stetson selectmen on Sept. 11 that he had asked Wellman Paving to finish the town paving project no later than Oct. 1; he said the contractor would reach out to him if it could not meet that deadline. William also reported one culvert on Mt. Pleasant Road has been completed and one more remains to be worked on.
During the meeting Danielle Davis asked about purchasing a paper folding machine to assist with tax bills and other mailings. The board agreed to buy the device from Amazon for $513.86.
No formal change orders, contract amendments, or funding amounts for the paving work were recorded in the minutes. The Road Commissioner’s update was listed in committee reports; the board made no formal vote altering the paving contract schedule in the minutes.
