County commissioners approve minutes, payrolls and accounts payable and handle administrative business

The Carroll County Board of Commissioners approved several routine administrative and financial items during its March 6 meeting.
Votes taken included approval of the Feb. 23, 2026 meeting minutes (Chandler/McGee; 2-0-1 with Vice-Chairman Parker recorded as abstaining), approval of payroll disbursements for Feb. 27 and March 6, 2026, and approval of accounts payable for Feb. 20 and March 5, 2026 (all Parker/Chandler, 3-0). The board also voted 3-0 to approve and release specified non-public minutes dated Jan. 27, April 21 and Sept. 8, 2025, and approved and signed a trade-name renewal for Mountain View Community. A request form for a transfer from the accrued benefits non-capital reserve fund to the general fund in the amount of $98,263.84 was signed, though no vote was recorded. The board approved advertising the Mountain View Community irrigation RFP (Parker/Chandler, 3-0) and signed a letter supporting funding for the MWV Adult Day Center based on a prior decision.
