Rob Eaton nominated Ehrlenbach and Don Snokes seconded. Michael Pinkham moved to close nominations; Gary Edwards seconded that motion, and ballots were collected. The tally was reported as overwhelmingly in favor of Ehrlenbach.
The minutes show the Town Clerk called for ballots twice before announcing the result. The Moderator, once elected, presided over the remainder of the meeting. The minutes record that an attempt by John Keenan to introduce a separate warrant amendment (to start with Article 39) was rejected by the Moderator as out of order.
The meeting proceeded to the annual warrant items after the moderator election and concluded with adjournment at 8:20 p.m.
