At their Aug. 28, 2024 meeting, the Town of Stetson Selectmen scheduled community services and approved several facility and equipment follow-ups.
The board set Big Trash Day for Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and agreed to proceed with the town's usual Christmas program: the application cutoff was set for Nov. 15 and all donations and gifts must be turned in by Dec. 6. The minutes record the board agreed to order a dozen wheels and 100 pins for toters (cart repairs/parts).
In facilities business, the board recorded an ABM quote of $4,610 for Unit 3 heating work but voted to wait for a competing quote from AAA before awarding the job. Several other items were left tabled, including rental agreements and a podium.
Road Commissioner William reported that planned paving work had been pushed back to the end of September and that he is actively working on culverts.
No new business was brought forward. The meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
