Stetson selectmen approve minutes, payroll and expenditures; cancel second meetings in November and December

The board unanimously approved Oct. 23 minutes and Bangor Payroll #9, approved Expenditures #13 with one abstention, voted to cancel second Nov. and Dec. meetings and adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
At the Nov. 13 meeting the Town of Stetson Selectmen approved routine meeting business and several procedural votes.
The board approved the Oct. 23, 2024 meeting minutes (motion by Selectman Jody Lyford, second by Selectman Gene Trojano). Bangor Payroll #9 was approved on a motion by Selectman Tammy Buswell, seconded by Selectman Jody Lyford. Expenditures #13 was approved on a motion by Selectman Jody Lyford, seconded by Selectman Leslie Merrill; the minutes record that Selectman Gene Trojano abstained from that vote.
The board also voted unanimously to cancel the second Selectboard meetings scheduled for both November and December (motion by Selectman Tammy Buswell, second by Selectman Leslie Merrill). The meeting adjourned at 7:47 p.m. on a motion by Selectman Tammy Buswell, seconded by Selectman Gene Trojano; the minutes record the vote as all in favor.
Other non-vote items recorded in the minutes included a schedule for new waste toters arriving Nov. 18 and several committee reports: Cemetery (Julie Brownie said MacIntosh added Stetson to a priority list), Education (a UTC vote passed and RSU 64 has exited regionalization of the high school), and an EMT/Rescue note that Eric is pursuing a grant for air packs.
