KABS seeks public input on possible southern Kosciusko-area bus service

Kristin Rude, coordinator for Kosciusko Area Bus Service (KABS), addressed the council about outreach for a possible extension of transit service to southern Kosciusko County.
Rude said a pilot service in Nappanee is going well and that KABS wants to assess demand in Silver Lake and Claypool via an online survey. She asked council members to take flyers and pamphlets to distribute to residents; the council accepted materials to hand out at town hall. No formal vote was taken; the council agreed to assist with distribution.
