She asked the board, "when are we going to be able to get into the water?" and questioned why there appeared to be little urgency or on‑site staffing by the contractor identified in the packet as ALD.
Crawford asked the board to learn from this project and to improve communication and delegation on future projects so athletes do not lose their seasons. Her remarks drew applause from the audience.
