Board approves electrical and restroom repairs; pool contractor says inspection, heating and flooring work expected to finish next week

Restroom repairs: The board approved an urgent repair of multiple stalls in the girls’ restroom in the high school gym. Aspire Industries quoted $7,426 to replace a major sewer trunk line component and to restore restroom function; administration said the vendor could perform the work over the Christmas break and that payment will be charged to 2025 operations. The board authorized proceeding to avoid further disruption of public and school use.
Pool update: A public commenter with onsite project knowledge said ALD is on site (on-site supervisor Seth; project manager Kevin Durst) and that the contractor calibrated the Kimroller pool-chemical system and expects continuous operation while finishing painting and installing flooring. The commenter said a health-department inspection is scheduled for Thursday and, "after that happened...our pool has been running non-stop and will continue to run non-stop barring any issues." He added that if everything goes well students could use the pool as early as next week and that a hot-water delivery speed issue remains under review; the board of health reportedly will not delay inspection so long as a plan is in place to address hot-water speed.
