Representatives for 40 Grove Barn, LLC told the Mount Kisco Planning Board on June 25 that they will seek variances before proceeding with portions of the site's plan review.
Aldo Vitagliano, the applicant's attorney, and property owner Evelio Elledias said they are awaiting an updated review by the Building Inspector to determine which variances will be required for the project (PB2022-0437). Vitagliano said the applicant may bifurcate the two-family residence work from the broader site-plan review because the two-family use is permitted and already exists in the zoning district.
The applicants removed truck parking from the current site-plan submission, the board heard. The Planning Board was told the applicants will appear before the Zoning Board of Appeals to pursue any needed variances and will return to the Planning Board after that process.
No formal vote on the site plan was taken. The board’s next steps are procedural: the applicant will pursue the Building Inspector’s updated review and, if needed, file for variances with the Zoning Board of Appeals before resuming Planning Board review.
