The Planning Board opened a public hearing on PB2023‑0440 for Reliable Auto and Truck Repair at 21 Cary Place on Aug. 13, 2024. Mr. Rich Williams of Insite Engineering described proposed landscaping and screening, the dimensional variances already granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals, and an off‑site lease agreement for required improvements.
No public comments were recorded. Board members discussed site changes and confirmed the ZBA variances; the board directed Village Planner Jan Johannessen to prepare a draft resolution reflecting outstanding conditions. Co‑Chair Crystal Pickard moved to adjourn the public hearing to Sept. 10, 2024; the motion carried 5–0.
Why it matters: the ZBA has granted variances but the Planning Board must still resolve site‑plan details and conditions before final approval. The planner’s resolution will document required landscaping, screening and any lease‑back provisions.
What’s next: staff to prepare a resolution for the Sept. 10 meeting; the applicant will return with any plan revisions requested by consultants.
