Land Preservation Review Board approves offer recommendations for two properties and backs new member nomination

The Land Preservation Review Board voted unanimously in executive session Sept. 19 to recommend full appraised and incentive offer amounts for two applicant properties and to forward a candidate for board membership to the Board of Supervisors (BoS).

Vince DiFilippo, an LPRB member, moved to request BoS approval of the full appraised and incentive offer amounts for the John and Doreen Klingler property on North Old Stone House Road (Tax ID #38-08-0571-019); J. L. Bruner seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously. The minutes record the motion as a formal recommendation to the BoS rather than a final purchase by the township.

Secretary Sharon Wevodau moved to request BoS approval of the full appraised offer amount for the Harriet Peak property at 7227 Wertzville Road (Tax ID #38-05-0433-001A); Gerald Boyd seconded and the board approved the motion unanimously. Both motions were taken during the board's executive session, which began at 6:45 p.m. and ended at 8:03 p.m.

Separately, J. L. Bruner moved to recommend Barry Frantz as a new member of the LPRB to the Board of Supervisors; Rob Shaw seconded the nomination and the board approved it unanimously.
