Gerald Boyd resigns as LPRB secretary; Sharon Wevodau appointed

The Silver Spring Land Preservation Review Board accepted the resignation of Gerald Boyd as secretary and unanimously approved Sharon Wevodau as the board’s new secretary during its July 18 meeting.
J.L. Bruner moved to accept Boyd’s resignation; the motion was seconded by Vince DiFilippo and recorded as approved unanimously. Frank Evelhoch then moved to nominate Sharon Wevodau as secretary; the motion, seconded by Vince DiFilippo, was recorded as approved unanimously. The board also voted to allow Gerald Boyd to attend the meeting via Zoom (motion by Vince DiFilippo, second by J.L. Bruner). The board approved the June 20, 2024 meeting minutes (motion by Rob Shaw, second by Sharon Wevodau) by unanimous vote.
The minutes record the procedural votes but show no additional personnel discussion. The meeting convened at 5:35 p.m. and adjourned at 8:06 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for August 15, 2024.
