City planning staff reported the sign will be mounted roughly 8 feet 8 inches above the sidewalk, measure 3 feet by 2 feet per side (6 square feet), use metal with a welded 1-by-2‑inch steel tube frame and feature black and brushed‑silver lettering. Staff said the proposed placement and materials meet village center standards and code requirements.
Applicant Blake, representing Wesley Roberts, confirmed the decorative corner elements are metal and not lit. Board members asked whether the drawings showed illumination above the sign and whether the finish matched other signage in the village center. Blake and staff said the decorative element contains no lighting and that the sign material matches approved exterior‑grade paneling used on a prior project. After discussion, a board member moved approval; the motion was seconded and the board voted unanimously to approve the application.
The board’s action approves the sign as submitted; staff and the applicant confirmed details including attachment height and finish prior to issuance of the certificate.
