Medora school board unanimously approves minutes, payroll, field trip and donations

The Board of School Trustees of the Medora Community School Corporation met publicly on Feb. 10, 2025, and unanimously approved a series of routine operational items.
Mrs. Faythe Gill moved to approve the minutes from the Jan. 13, 2025 meeting; Mrs. Ada Reynolds seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Mrs. Reynolds then moved to approve the claims and payroll as submitted; Mrs. Gill seconded and that motion also passed 3-0.
The board approved a field trip to the National Farm Machinery Show and granted a facility-use request for the gym from the Class of 1971 after Mrs. Gill moved the measure and Mrs. Reynolds seconded. The board recorded the vote as 3 for, 0 against. The board also approved donations for January and accepted a conflict-of-interest disclosure statement by the same 3-0 vote.
Mr. Bane presented the monthly budget and extracurricular reports for the board to review; those reports were provided for information and no formal action on the reports is recorded in the minutes.
The meeting proceeded without additional items from board members and was adjourned following a motion by Mrs. Gill, seconded by Mrs. Reynolds. The minutes record the meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m., and Faythe Gill signed the minutes as secretary.
