Marlborough commissioners say $100,000 in FS2 capital requests were cut; $30,000 may remain

That reduction came during the commissioners’ review of unfinished business. Laliberte said both capital fund requests were cut and summarized the manager’s estimate about remaining funds. The minutes record the commission’s plan to monitor audit results and budget developments before pursuing further work at FS2.
The cut affects planned improvements at the station; commissioners did not adopt a revised funding plan at the meeting. Laliberte also noted an unrelated correction to the Fire Chief’s report: “ET217 Federal Q Siren no longer good.”
