Board adopts new policy package, approves curriculum committee and seeks updated ELA curriculum

The board was asked to approve a curriculum committee, chaired by the district's "Dr.," and to ensure the committee's work conforms with open meeting law. The committee will review candidate curricula, advise the board, and schedule any required community input.
A motion to adopt the policy chapters and to approve the curriculum committee was presented and advanced at the meeting.
