At its June 25 meeting the River Ridge Community Development District Board accepted the unaudited financial statements as of May 31, 2024, and reviewed the proposed Fiscal Year 2024–2025 budget. District Manager Chuck Adams said staff used General Fund balance to keep assessments flat for FY2025; the minutes record the review but not a formal budget adoption at this meeting.
Alex Kurth of Premier Lakes reported good pond conditions with little algae or invasive submerged vegetation after pre-season preparations; littorals will be installed in two weeks and staff will inspect a few noisy aerators and check sound levels at Lake E1-C. Mr. Willis reported littorals were removed from Lake E4-C by a resident; the board approved a recommendation that the Fining Committee review and take action against homeowners who removed littorals from the lake bank.
A McCullers Construction revised estimate of $277,550 to install a new irrigation well was discussed in the context of SFWMD restrictions and longer-term water-use planning; the board took no action on the well estimate and will reconsider the item in the future. The board confirmed a quorum for the next meeting on July 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., when the Lake & Dry Retention Audit Report will be included on the agenda.
