County staff says SNAP issuance paused for November; seeks emergency partners meeting

"I'm looking at potentially Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 ... and was planning to invite Keith as emergency management and also Karen Share, Carol Marie from [the] school district, our public health department ... and potentially Alisa from the senior center as well," Melinda said.
She also asked the board to consider using some Dolores County Social Services funds to help fill immediate needs if partners cannot fully cover shortfalls. Board members agreed that assembling stakeholders promptly would be useful and that county staff should reach out to partners from neighboring counties for additional information.
No specific dollar commitment or formal vote was recorded at the meeting; Melinda was asked to schedule the meeting and circulate materials to invited stakeholders.
