After brief discussion Trustee Heather Leaman moved to authorize payment; Trustee Paul Garrone seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Clerk-Treasurer Rick Roberts circulated a memo recommending General Fund budget transfers (for example, +$2,025 to DPW equipment, +$1,275 to capital projects, +$2,900 CHIPS aid adjustment and -$600 to Contingent Exp., DPW) to prevent overdrafts related to tonight’s appropriations; Deputy Mayor Dean Hyatt moved approval and the board approved unanimously.
Trustee Denise Davies moved that Mayor Paul Labas be authorized to execute the annual contract with the Town and the Granville Engine & Hose Company to provide fire protection services to the South Granville Fire District; the board approved the authorization in keeping with past practice. The board also authorized DPW Superintendent Scott Mackey to execute the county agreement for reimbursement of snow and ice removal on NYS roadways and sidewalks for the 2025–26 season.
