The board reviewed claims presented by Clerk‑Treasurer Rick Roberts: General Fund $8,455.84, Water Fund $2,402.88, Sewer Fund $1,772.19 and unaudited vouchers of $297.10. Trustee Denise Davies moved to approve payment of the audited claims and Trustee Paul Garrone seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Roberts then proposed transfers within the General and Water funds to avoid overdrawing individual line items. In the General Fund the transfers move $2,200 to contractual DPW expenses (salt costs) and $4,300 to FICA taxes, offset by a $6,500 draw from unreserved fund balance. In the Water Fund the transfers add $900 to purification (chemical costs), $7,250 to water salaries to cover severance costs, and $350 to FICA taxes, offset by an $8,500 draw from unreserved fund balance.
Deputy Mayor Dean Hyatt moved to approve the requested transfers; Trustee Heather Leaman seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The board did not set future dates or additional reporting requirements in the meeting minutes; Clerk‑Treasurer Roberts is expected to reflect the transfers in the next financial reports.
The meeting record notes no public objections to the transfers. The board adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
