Wolcottville approves clerk's registration for statewide training

Wolcottville — The Town Council on Oct. 14 approved Clerk-Treasurer Heidi Huff's request to register for a virtual training from the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers scheduled for Nov. 4–6, 2025.
Huff said the training would provide education credits toward becoming a registered clerk-treasurer. She noted she will be in the office on those dates but unavailable to perform duties while attending. The registration fee is $150.00. Council Member Jeff Sorg moved to approve Huff's registration and payment of the fee; Vice President Steven Cords seconded. The motion carried with all voting in favor.
The minutes record no additional conditions attached to the approval. Huff is to attend the training and receive continuing-education credit toward her clerk-treasurer registration.
