Wolcottville adopts alcohol-purchase policy and approves two street-address changes

Town Attorney Kurt Bachman presented an order to change two street addresses and described an alcohol purchase policy statement required by the State Board of Accounts. The council approved both address changes after a motion by Jeff Sorg and second by Steven Cords, and then adopted Ordinance #2025-08-05-01 to add the alcohol-purchase policy to the town policy manual; the council also voted to waive a second reading.
The address changes apply to two parcels in Noble County (Parcel ID #57-04-04-100-174.000-012 to become 2633 E 1150 N; Parcel ID #57-04-04-100-169.000-012 to become 2717 E 1150 N), as presented by Bachman. The alcohol policy statement presented and added to the manual states that the Town of Wolcottville does not reimburse alcohol purchases, a requirement reportedly requested by the State Board of Accounts.
