North Miami board accepts donations, approves fundraisers and greenlights Esports team

The board voted to accept the donations on a motion by Amy Eckrote, seconded by David Floyd; the motion carried 6-0.
The board also approved a slate of fundraisers for MS/HS and graduating classes, including Krispy Kreme sales, Evergreen Christmas greenery and other class-specific activities with listed dates. Those fundraisers were approved unanimously.
Separately, the board granted permission to formally form a North Miami Esports team, with the motion carried 6-0. Board members thanked staff and volunteers during closing comments for their work on events and programs.
Next steps: administration will deposit and allocate donation funds according to donor restrictions, complete fundraising approvals and support formation steps for the Esports team, including any necessary activity guidelines and volunteer clearances.
