Board approves hires, volunteers and personnel moves; accepts staff resignations

Hired for extracurricular and coaching roles were John Paul Hobbs (junior high girls basketball), Joe Mcclure (assistant varsity girls basketball), Reva Mure (fifth-grade girls basketball), Rean Hamilton (sixth-grade girls basketball), Brooklyn Sturgeon (seventh-grade girls basketball), Alicia Yenni (eighth-grade girls basketball), Steve Mir (seventh-grade boys basketball), Jordan Mir (JV boys basketball), Austin Fox (assistant varsity boys basketball) and Kobe Claycom (freshman assistant varsity volleyball). Volunteers approved included Millie Leroy, Megan Eaton, Braxton Yenni, Kaisen Parker and Megan Miller.
The board accepted resignations from Brock Malone (assistant transportation and grounds maintenance), Samantha Capatillo (instructional aide) and Reagan Lon (primary custodian) and approved an instructional-aide transfer for Reagan Lon and an internal primary-school grade-level move for Maline Trout. The board granted maternity leave to Riley Wampler for Aug. 5–31, 2026.
Administrators also moved to employ Roger Lemons as assistant transportation and grounds maintenance staff and approved part-time summer maintenance Nash McCclure, summer custodial coverage by Courtney Forny, and Jump Start teachers and aides (Pam Curtis, Maline Trout, Christina Groman, Amy Sloan, Stephen [last name not in transcript], Tammy Mureer and aides Kelly Culler, Stacy Page and Alyssa Lynch). All personnel motions were approved by voice vote in the meeting transcript.
