Zionsville High School to add new AP, arts, business and language courses for 2026–27

Assistant Principal Maureen Borto presented the recommended additions, which span arts and wellness (jewelry, printmaking), business and engineering (management fundamentals, principles of business management), English (AP Seminar), math (Analytical Algebra, AP Precalculus) and world language (Workplace Spanish).
Board members asked how the additions would affect teacher workload. Superintendent Rebecca Coffman said adding new courses "will not directly equate to an increase in staffing." The board approved the course list by a 5‑0 vote.
The additions will be incorporated into the high-school program of studies for 2026–27; staffing and scheduling work will follow in the coming months.
