Shared services and revenue: The committee approved Resolution 26‑6‑185, renewing a shared‑services agreement to provide CFO/tax collector and related accounting services to the borough of PPAC and Gladstone. Staff said the extension (2026–2029) will generate $85,000 in revenue for the township.
Licenses and contracts: The committee renewed preliminary retail consumption, distribution and club liquor licenses for the 2026–2027 term and approved extensions and renewals for several inactive/pocket licenses tied to Montgomery Promenade redevelopment plans. The clerk and legal staff confirmed parties had demonstrated ‘‘significant steps’’ toward activation in line with recent ABC guidance.
Stormwater retrofit award: The governing body authorized award of Bid B‑04‑2026 for retrofits to two township‑owned stormwater basins (Catbriar Court and Red Fox Run Court). The project will use DEP grant funding on a reimbursement basis; staff said the work will improve both water‑quantity (flood reduction) and water‑quality functions.
Other business: The committee also approved a contract extension for wastewater‑treatment chemicals, a resolution supporting left‑turn prohibitions at the Somerset at Montgomery driveway per DOT recommendation, and several performance–guarantee extensions for development projects. Each motion passed on roll call (all recorded votes were affirmative).
What happens next: Staff will manage grant reimbursement for the stormwater project and proceed with contract administration; the settlement agreement will be filed per legal counsel guidance.
