The Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees approved the full consent agenda Feb. 9, accepting minutes from the Jan. 12 meeting, numerous personnel separations and hires across certified and classified roles, out-of-state and overnight field trips, donations to schools and programs, and monthly financial items.
Notable consent items included personnel changes across ZCS schools (certified separations and hires; classified and ECA/supplemental appointments), permission for field trips including ZCHS cross country to Franklin College (July 20-22, 2026) and a ZWMS international trip to France for 7th/8th graders planned for July 2027, and multiple donations: several classroom gifts to Pleasant View Elementary, an equipment donation to ZCHS from the Jim Irsay Estate valued at $8,652.99 to support essential skills/physical therapy programming, a $650 donation to a ZCHS lifeskills classroom, and other in-kind contributions to makerspace and lifeskills programs.
The consent motion to accept the full package was moved by Trustee Jennifer Valentine, seconded by Vice President Michael Berg, and passed 5-0. The board’s monthly financial report included claims totaling $11,149,562.26 and payroll of $4,702,429.59.
