The five bids read at the meeting were: Pigeon Hill Tractor (Steuben) $28,500; P.C. Earth Works (Hermon) $8,448.38; Cashley Builders (Sullivan) $28,000; Hawk Tree Service (Phippsburg) $117,000; Harvey Jordon (Waltham) $24,900. The work covers tree trimming on Thorn Road, Grange Hall Road, Harbor View Drive and Morancy Road.
The minutes record the board’s instruction to confirm scope with P.C. Earth Works as a condition before awarding the contract. The record does not include a revised contract award or a scheduled date for the scope review; the board voted only to pursue the verification and fallback option.
