Transportation staff (identified as Matt in the meeting) described heavy workload during winter weather but praised bus drivers and teachers for flexible support during e-learning days. Matt said the district is developing a synchronous learning plan to reduce the need for make-up days if weather forces closures and noted close coordination with the Knox County Highway Department when drivers report slick road conditions. He summarized the period as "busy time of year," thanking staff for their efforts.
Administrators reminded principals of coverage plans for Jan. 6–7 (finals days) and cited an upcoming checkpoint testing date on Jan. 22. Several volunteers and staff members were named for contributions to holiday events.
