The Clovis Unified Governing Board adopted the May 27, 2026 special meeting agenda and recessed into closed session to discuss a pending administrative hearing and labor negotiations, the district’s minutes show.
Board President Tiffany Stoker Madsen called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m. and a roll call recorded six members present. The board voted to adopt the agenda as submitted; the motion was moved by Board Member Tom Hashimoto and seconded by Board Member Steven Fogg. The motion passed 6-0; Board Member Clinton Olivier was absent. The minutes list the aye votes as Hugh Awtrey, Deena Combs-Flores, Steven Fogg, Yolanda Moore, Tiffany Stoker Madsen and Tom Hashimoto.
Under the special meeting agenda the board entered closed session to discuss two items: existing litigation (identified as OAH Case No. 2026030500) under Government Code §54956.9(d), and conference with labor negotiators under Education Code §54957.6.
