Tusayan staff report on maturing CD, Triad service sundowning and ADOT runway open house

Town Manager Hendrix reported that a Town investment CD matured and staff will review reinvestment options consistent with town policy (TVI/LGIP guidance). She also said staff are working to bring property-permit holders into compliance.
Council Member Josh Collet said Triad is sundowning its service in the town and that affected customers can transition to Commnet; staff and Mr. Collet said they are working on ways for the Library Check-out Program to provide internet access for residents. An audience member asked how AccessParks is affected and staff clarified the program is separate from the Triad service transition.
Hendrix said Arizona Department of Transportation held an open house at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport about a runway project; the council asked staff to follow up with ADOT about signs, crosswalks and curbing where issues were noted.
