Councilmembers asked clarifying questions about park (PROS) plan impact fees, transportation impact fees, Cascadia project thresholds, and whether subarea plans for commercial development would be included in the workload. Several councilmembers expressed interest in ensuring impact‑fee work assesses implications for both residential and commercial development.
Councilor Stavig moved to adopt the Planning Commission's recommended work plan dated Jan. 7, 2026, and to authorize the Mayor to sign the attached resolution. The motion passed with all in favor and the Mayor was authorized to sign the resolution.
City staff will proceed with the tasks listed in the work plan and return to council as required for public hearings and ordinance updates related to the Comprehensive Plan and the impact‑fee studies.
