During its Oct. 8 meeting, the Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District Finance Committee reviewed the monthly financial reports and received project updates from Project Manager Alyssa Gordon (participating via teleconference). Staff answered questions from committee members, but the minutes record no substantive budget changes or approvals.
General Manager Dennis White provided updates about planning for a 2025–26 rate study; the committee agreed further discussion is needed and will occur at a future meeting. The minutes do not include a scope, timeline or estimated costs for the proposed study.
Director Jim Freeman recommended the committee view a Lean Six Sigma problem-solving and process-improvement video as an informational resource to help staff improve procedures. There were no public comments. Committee members also expressed appreciation to staff and specifically acknowledged Alyssa Gordon for her 10 years of service to the District.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:11 p.m. following a motion by Director Jim Freeman and a second by Director Gary Graves.
