Mayor April Grant had opened the meeting and earlier reported economic development updates from NNDC, noting that the local development authority is largely loaned out but reviewing small-business applications. The manufactured and mobile home ordinance discussed later in the meeting drew no council action.
The adoption of Resolution 2026-04 is a legislative step to place the question before Crawford voters; the resolution text specifies submission to the 2026 general election.
