He also requested council accept a $71,652.40 Fire Prevention and Safety Grant, with a $3,412.02 match, to fund a community risk assessment, standard-of-cover work and a community-driven strategic plan tied to accreditation.
Council moved and seconded the motion to accept both grants and voted aye unanimously.
