Council members raised small-scale maintenance items during new business on Aug. 12. Councilor Sue Rice volunteered to speak with homeowner Mr. Chinchilla about overgrown shrubs covering the town sign in North Wynnedale’s right-of-way. The council also identified two trees in the South Wynnedale esplanade that need removal and noted a nearby tree on Dr. Reisinger’s property that must be removed.
Sue Rice will solicit three bids to remove the three trees and grind stumps. According to the minutes, the town plans to pay for two of the removals while Dr. Reisinger will pay for the third. No motion or vote was recorded for these maintenance items; they were documented as new business and assigned follow-up action.
