Town Manager Ray Weintraub presented a cash-only summary (expenses not yet deducted): raffles, bounce house and boat rides generated $5,881; boot collections raised $5,289 (down from the previous year, credited largely to fewer volunteers collecting on the street); and the Firemen's Grill and glow-stick sales contributed $4,655. Weintraub said overall Saturday receipts exceeded $16,000 and that the event appeared well attended throughout the day, without the midday lull reported in some prior years.
The minutes record revenue totals only; expenses and net proceeds were not included in the meeting record. No formal appropriation or expenditure decision was made at the Aug. 5 meeting in the minutes.
