The committee reported a Maine Community Foundation planning grant to support skatepark design and fundraising planning; planning will include community outreach and a contractor rendering. Parks & Rec also described ordered benches and picnic tables, a free tennis demonstration to promote use of the municipal court, and aquatic camp registration that listed several campers for July sessions.
Both committees emphasized volunteer involvement and local partnerships. No formal votes or appropriations tied to these reports were recorded at the meeting.
