Wildwood Crest advances three ordinances to second reading, schedules July 1 public hearing

Clerk Trish read three ordinances and the borough commission unanimously approved each on first reading, setting a public hearing and second reading for July 1, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.

Clerk Trish read the ordinance; the commission approved first reading and advertising for the July 1 public hearing by unanimous roll call.

Ordinance 1494 proposes changes to chapter 79 (restricted parking zones for persons with disabilities), adds a section on golf-cart parking, amends restricted parking on Heather Road and repeals part of section 79.3. The commission likewise passed Ordinance 1494 on first reading and scheduled the public hearing.

None of the three ordinances drew public comment or substantive debate during the meeting. The borough will advertise each ordinance as required by law and consider them for final adoption at the July 1, 2026 hearing.
