Greentown council adopts salary ordinance, approves 2025 personnel policies

At its Nov. 19 meeting the Greentown Town Council adopted Ordinance 2024-7 (salary adjustments) and approved the Town of Greentown Personnel and Employee Benefits Policies for 2025; both measures passed by voice vote after second readings and motions carried.
Greentown Town Council President Scott Deyoe read the second reading of Ordinance 2024-7 on Nov. 19, 2024, and the council moved to adopt the ordinance revising salaries for the Town Council, Clerk Treasurer, town employees, the Plan Commission and the Board of Appeals. Council member Mark Lantz made the motion to approve and Craig Standish seconded; the motion carried, recorded in the minutes as approved.
Deyoe also read the Town of Greentown Personnel and Employee Benefits Policies for 2025 and asked the council for a motion to approve. Council member Debra Everling moved to adopt the policies and James Skinner seconded; the motion carried and the policies were entered into the record.
